We will discover how to add service product in WooCommerce website, in this tutorial. Everything that the service product is are virtual goods. You don’t sell any downloadable products on your website or ship the buyer any physical goods. One-on-one assistance, photo shoots, Skype calls, online consultations, online coaching, and online call sessions are a few examples of service items.
There are products where you might just be advising customers and offering them your services. You might not want them to purchase more than one of these items at a time. You can provide two or more things in a single order for simple products. Nevertheless, you are only allowed to place one order per virtual or service offering.

Steps to add Service products in WooCommerce website
- Login to Dashboard of your WordPress website.
- In the left panel, you will see the option, Products. Click on Products.
- You will see list of all products on your website. Click on Add New product.
- Enter the details of the product such as Product Name, Description, Short Description, product image.
- Go to Product Data section. Click on Product Data dropdown and select Virtual Product.
- It is not Downloadable product, so do not select downloadable product. Leave it Unchecked.
- Enter the price of your service.
- Go Inventory. Select the option “Select Individually”. This will not allow people to buy more than 1 product at a time.
- Publish the new product.
- That’s it! The service product is added to your shop.
