Hey, thanks for stopping by.
I’m Prashant Mittal — a freelance web designer based in Pune, India. I’ve been building websites professionally since 2011, which means I’ve spent 15+ years figuring out what actually works when it comes to getting local businesses online.
Over that time, I’ve built more than 1,800 websites for 900+ clients across the USA, UK, Australia, and other countries. My clients are mostly local businesses — salons, restaurants, dental clinics, fitness studios, coaches, real estate agents — people who need a website that works, not one that just looks impressive in a designer’s portfolio.

A few years into freelancing, I noticed something. The same questions kept coming up — from clients, from people I met in WordPress Facebook groups, from beginners trying to build their first site. “How do I set up X in Elementor?” “Which booking plugin is best for a salon?” “Why isn’t my WooCommerce checkout working?”
Instead of answering the same question over and over, I started recording YouTube videos. Simple, practical walkthroughs showing exactly how to do the thing — step by step, no fluff, no 20-minute intro.
That YouTube channel grew into this blog. Every tutorial here started as a real question from a real client or community member. If you’ve Googled a WordPress or Elementor question and landed on this site, you’re in the right place.
Everything here falls into four main areas:
After 15+ years and 1,800+ websites, here’s the one thing I’d tell every beginner:
💬 Prashant’s Advice
Build a fast, clean, simple website — not a fancy one.
Most local business owners don’t need a site full of animations, parallax effects, and heavy hero videos. They need a site that loads in under 3 seconds, clearly tells visitors what they do, and makes it easy to call, book, or buy.
Simple websites convert better. Simple websites rank better in Google. And they’re a lot easier for your clients to maintain themselves.
That philosophy runs through everything I teach on this blog. You won’t find me recommending bloated themes or plugins that slow your site down just to add a fancy animation. I’d rather show you the lean, practical solution that actually gets the job done.
These are the tools I actually use in my own client projects — not sponsorships, just what works:
The best way to follow along is to subscribe to my YouTube channel, where I post new tutorial videos regularly. Every video has a companion written guide right here on the blog — so if you’d rather read than watch, you’re covered either way.
If you’re a business owner who needs a website built properly — fast, clean, and SEO-ready — I take on freelance projects. Head over to the Pricing page or use the Contact page to get in touch.
And if you have a question about something you read or watched here — drop a comment on the post. I read every single one and reply as often as I can.
